Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Birmingham Children’s Hospital oncology ward treats around 250 new children and young people with cancer, leukaemia and brain tumours each year from around the West Midlands and beyond. Birmingham Children’s Hospital is the UK’s leading specialist paediatric centre, caring for sick children and young people up to the age of 16. The oncology department is a specialist cancer ward comprising a team of doctors, nurses (on the ward, in clinics and in the community), social workers, psychologists, play specialists, teachers and pharmacists.

Help Harry Help Others

The Help Harry Help Others (HHHO) charity was started by Harry Moseley before he lost his battle with cancer in 2011, aged just 11 years old. Harry was a young, courageous boy who became a major fundraiser in the fight to beat brain tumours. The registered charity, which supports cancer families in Solihull and Birmingham, was established in 2012 by Harry’s mum, Georgie. Due to the impact that cancer had on their family, Georgie decided to continue with Harry’s incredible work so that she could help other families where she felt more support was needed.

Mary Stevens Hospice

Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust makes a donation to Mary Stevens Hospice via Mandeep Rajput who has trekked over 400km of the Great Wall of China. Mandeep has raised over £28,000 to date. Based in Stourbridge in the West Midlands, the hospice offers patients with incurable or life-limiting illnesses the opportunity to enjoy their lives to the fullest, however long that life may be. Based around their values of care, compassion and kindness, they provide a full range of hospice care services that not only support patients, but friends and family too.

Birmingham Mind

“We were truly grateful to Bond Wolfe for choosing to support Birmingham Mind over the last 12 months. Each year 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem and your support will help us make sure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone. Currently, our fundraised and donated money is being used to support our Mental Health Helpline, currently offered 24hrs a day 7 days a week, which provides practical and crisis telephone support and signposting to the citizens of Birmingham & Solihull. St Chad’s Catholic Primary School

St. Chad’s Catholic primary school is a single form entry school situated in Newtown near Birmingham City Centre and take children from the ages of 4 – 11 years. They are an international school with over 20 languages spoken by their children and staff. They belong to the Cathedral Parish of St Chad’s, where they have very strong links and work closely with the Parish Priest, Monsignor Tim to ensure that their children receive an outstanding Catholic Education. “Thank you for your donation which is very much appreciated and needed to support our school community. Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. It also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.

Diwali on the Square

It’s always a pleasure to welcome West Midlands Mayor Andy Street to Asha’s and an even greater pleasure to be able to present him with a cheque to West Midlands Combined Authority who again joined forces with the Consulate General of India to hold a spectacular free event to celebrate the Festival of Lights in Birmingham’s Victoria Square. Diwali on the Square was yet again a huge success with singing, dancing, live performers and delicious food. We would like to thank all of our customers for their generous donations which enables us to support events and charities across the West Midlands and beyond.

Throughout 2022, we have been proud to support the University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, raising funds for the Young Persons Unit through our company fundraising activities. CoachBright Charity

The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust, in association with Asha’s Restaurant are happy to support CoachBright who partner up with Primary and Secondary schools in England to run face-to-face and virtual coaching programmes. The charity support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to become independent and resilient learners so they can lead the lives they want. “We at CoachBright are very grateful to The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust for their generous support. This year we are proud to be supporting UHBC Children’s Appeal

Across the four hospitals supported by UHBC, over 100,000 children are treated every year, with life debilitating and life-limiting conditions. The Children’s Appeal exists to support children across their hospitals during their treatment. Being in hospital can be an incredibly scary time for adults, for children, it can be overwhelming. The UHBC Children’s Appeal aims to support children by making their time in hospital a little more comfortable, less daunting, and create a child friendly environment.
